FormPipe Software AB has expanded operations with its old-standing partner Sigma to include new project to be done by Eclipse SP. Eclipse SP and FormPipe Software laid the foundation for collaboration in 2008 with a small QA project, which was considered as a pilot one for proving the value of Eclipse SP services. Being very pleased with the quality of work and the level of the services provided, FormPipe Software decided to outsource further projects to Eclipse SP team. Therefore, Eclipse SP team was assigned to deliver technical review of one of the FormPipe Software products, Enterprise Content Management platform Platina. Being also involved in Platina ECM implementation and sales activities, Eclipse SP has put this experience to a good use in this new project, which is aimed to assess product’s state, architecture and quality characteristics. Platina is a process-controlled ECM product based on Microsoft .Net. The system is used within many business areas to improve the efficiency and ensure quality assurance of information management in modern organizations. It helps to structure, consolidate and improve the efficiency of the business processes of both public and private sector companies. Platina Technical Review is analysis project, in which it is necessary to create architectural documentation and reports describing Platina product. It includes activities for comprehensive Platina architecture analysis, documenting, product quality evaluation and system quality improvements suggestions development. Technical review covers the following aspects:
Platina Technical review is successfully accomplished. After that, due to excellent results of the project, FormPipe Software had decided to involve Eclipse SP team in further product development. |
